Blackra1n is a NEW jailbreak program that literally jailbreaks your device in a matter of 30 seconds! Blackra1n was created by George Hotz (also known as GeoHot) and it was released on the 11th October!
Although there are some catches to this jailbreak method.
Firstly, if jailbreaking the iPod Touch 3G, it will act as tethered.. meaning everytime you reboot or for some reason shut down your iPod Touch you will have to run the program again on your computer, which can get annoying!
Secondly, with the iPhone, it is not recommended to jailbreak with blackra1n if you have unlocked your iPhone and you are with another carrier other than the locked one, due to it 'stuffing up' and will cancel your unlock.
